View from the beach

Taken from a distance a person is photographed from behind as they stand on rocks on the beach aiming a camera at a cruise ship arriving on the horizon.
My husband’s photo of me capturing the arrival of ENCHANTMENT OF THE SEAS. September 10, 2022.

Of all the times I’ve gone to the beach to photograph cruise ship arrivals, my favorites are during low tide. That’s when I can venture out a bit further and get the ocean waves in the same frame as the moving ship, making for a unique capture.

Yesterday was one of those mornings. And my husband was there to document it. This is a smartphone shot, no filters. Check out the sky, too.

I hope to post the photos, along with others, this week. (I’m dealing with an uncooperative desktop, but we’re working on it!)
